Product: Paid Surveys At Home
Overall Ranking: 10 out of 100 or 0.5/5 stars
Price: $68 – comes down to $34 then $17 then $7 when you click to leave
Owner: Perhaps Patricia Johnson?
Website: http://www.paid-surveys-at-home.com
This is a survey site that has been around for about 10 years and is one of the many sites that leads people to believe they can make a living from taking surveys.
The site is meant to be owned by Patricia Johnson. However, I am suspicious about the owner when there is no “about us” page, to me, this is a red flag.
Paid Surveys At Home (PSAH) give the impression you can earn $20 in 20 minutes. In my review, we will see if this is really based on fact or complete fiction.
What is Paid Surveys At Home?
This is another site that provides a list of online survey companies where you can get paid to complete surveys both online and by telephone, participate in focus groups, try new products and even preview new movie trailers.
Basically, PSAH just provides a database of survey sites and you pay to access this list. You can consider it as an intermediary between you and the survey sites.
Who is this for?
This could be for you if you think taking surveys could be a good way of earning some money online. However, before you sign up you should know:
- You don’t have to pay to take surveys
- Surveys often take a long time to complete (say 30 minutes), for a small reward (say $1.50) The $20 surveys that take 20 minutes don’t exist.
- Often you will start a survey, but you won’t finish because you are not the demographic they are looking for. This means you will have wasted your time.
- Survey sites often have a minimum payout threshold, so you will have to complete several surveys with the same company before you will be paid.
These are some of the problems with online surveys. If you are still interested, find some companies with the search engines or other free directories. Above all, don’t pay to join the survey sites.

How does it work?
Paid Surveys At Home have a database of market research companies and before you can start taking surveys you have to register with as many companies as you like. You are recommended to register with 15 to 20 before getting started.
I didn’t bother to register with any of the companies, because normally I get disqualified from most surveys before the end, meaning for me it’s usually a complete waste of time. This is an inherent problem with surveys, you spend maybe 15 minutes answering questions only to be told “sorry you don’t qualify for this survey”
You can find survey sites yourself for free if you search just a little online. Don’t be fooled by the promise of surveys from $5 – $75, this doesn’t exist, the reality is something like 20 cents – $1.50.
PSAHome provides a calculator to enable you to calculate your probable earnings. In the image below, you can see I think I will complete 2 surveys per day for a reward of $1 per survey. This I think is realistic, conversely, PSAH includes rewards of up to $45. I have never seen surveys for this sort of pay.
Affiliate Program
This survey site also has an affiliate program and they claim to have paid out more than $2.5 million. If you feel that PSAH is a legitimate opportunity you could promote this program like many others are doing. It’s probably possible to earn more from being an affiliate than by taking surveys.
Personally, I won’t promote this program as I don’t believe that taking surveys is a good way to earn money online, and above all, you shouldn’t have to pay to join a program that provides information that can be found for free online.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A list of survey sites
- 60-day guarantee
Cons
- You have to pay for a list of free sites
- Upsells
- Exaggerated earning potential
- Testimonials using stock photos
- Personal information may be given to third party sites
Tools and training
There is not really any training, just what PSAH calls the “education you need”. Nothing really earth-shattering here, for example, in the “Helpful Tips To Increase Your Success” chapter you are told to always read the privacy policy when you sign up for the different survey sites and there is also some tax information. I was expecting some tips to boost my earnings, but I suppose that is impossible.
Upsells and “bonuses”
After joining, there is one upsell for other work at home opportunities, but when you don’t buy the price is reduced from $64 to $28 and finally to $14.
Why do they try to sell you this upsell? If their product can earn you thousands of dollars per month, you won’t need to look for any other work from home. The truth is, and of course, Paid Surveys At Home know the truth, you will not earn much from taking surveys, there aren’t enough of them and they pay very little.
There are also a couple of bonuses that are included:
- A free website worth $1995! This sounds too good to be true and of course, it is. You seem to be offered this every time you log in, very annoying! On the page with the offer, they say the companies involved are Brain Host and My Creative Site Designs. This information seems to be outdated.
The actual companies involved are Digital Ink and Site Hosting Source who are both included in my Creating Income System review. You get a free generic site, but you pay an inflated price for the hosting. Don’t be tempted to sign up for a free site, this is a hosting scam.
- You are also offered some ebooks with details of other work from home opportunities. There might be one or two pieces of good information in these freebies, although not enough to start your own business. For that, you need a training program that teaches you step by step.
Beware of emails
When you register with PSAH you will start receiving emails that are supposedly meant to help you earn money online.
The truth is these emails often promote scams and will help no one except the owners of PSAH, who will earn an affiliate commission and the program that is being promoted.
The email on the right promotes a binary options program, 30 Day Change, which, if you check, is a known scam.
I think this, more than anything, shows what sort of company this is. PSAH pretend to want to help you, but only really care about making money themselves.
Help and Support
There is some help provided in the form of a limited FAQ, a knowledge base or otherwise, you will have to submit a ticket and wait for your reply.
How much does it cost?
The advertised price is $68 with three downsells bringing the price down to just $7. They would rather have a few dollars than nothing at all. As the program is already online, every dollar they take is profit. Moreover, downsells like this are often a sign that a program has little value and is also a tactic often associated with online scams.
PSAH is a Clickbank product which means there is a 60-day money-back guarantee.
My final opinion
If you are looking for a way to make a living online, it will be hard to earn much with Paid Surveys At Home.
- You will pay to get a list of survey sites. You can join the same sites for free with a little searching on Google or you can find free directories with a list of survey sites similar to the database within PSAH.
- You will find many reviews recommending this site, however, these are probably affiliates of Paid Surveys At Home. They get paid when you join using their affiliate link.
- Your personal information will be shared with third-party businesses, who will email you or even telephone you.
- You will spend hours earning just a few dollars, there are better ways of earning money online.
Taking surveys isn’t a good way to earn money online, you will be offered just a few surveys each month from each company you sign up with. Furthermore, you will be disqualified from many of these surveys before you have finished.
You will never be able to earn enough money to live from taking surveys, just a little extra cash. Accordingly, if you want to earn $20 -$40 per month for many hours of your time, sign up for some of the free survey sites. If you want to earn some significant money, there are some far better ways of earning a living online.
Verdict: Not Recommended
An alternative
Making money online from home isn’t as simple as just answering a few questions for a survey. No, you have to learn how to build your business in the correct way, you have to put in a lot of effort writing content and researching products. I am sure you can be successful, you just need to be determined and work hard with the guidance of an educational program that will teach and support you.
If you want to put all the chances on your side, the best internet marketing program I have found is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s where I learned everything I know about affiliate marketing, WordPress, and building a website.
So, if you are serious about making money online, take a look at my Wealthy Affiliate review and if it looks interesting you could try the FREE trial.
If you have anything to add about Paid Surveys At Home or your experience with other survey sites, please leave a comment below.

Hello, Peter and internauts!
The Internet may be the most powerful engine to boost world progress but…. also brought new dangers, that uneducated IT people aren’t aware of. It’s transforming each countries market in a world’s market. I believe governments should take more measures concerning this “new freedom” that can ruin lives, or save them. I believe the education system should change and fast; also, States worldwide should prepare adequate laws. There are good home jobs. But you’ll have to work….lol.
Best regards from Portugal!
Vanessa Amado
So true Vanessa! The internet can be a dangerous place and many people are still unaware of the dangers. Educating them is important but very difficult and unfortunately many believe the scammers who tell them that making money online is easy. I’m glad to see you know to make money online you need to work hard. Keep spreading the word.
Peter
Thanks for giving a clear picture of the survey sites. Most of them are cheating innocents with fake registrations. It’s really hard to catch genuine sites at home. Can you tell me how to start with the Wealthy Affiliate program?
You’re welcome Harish! Some of the survey sites may trick you with false registrations but there are some genuine sites around. It’s like anything in the make money online niche, you have to check out each “opportunity” before signing up.
To start with Wealthy Affiliate, you create a free account and then start going through the training. If you like what you find you can either stay as a Starter member with 2 free websites and just the 10 free lessons. Or you can become a Premium member and benefit from the complete training, hosting for up to 50 websites, tools and help and support. If you have any questions let me know.

I am getting ready to work at home, I worked at my last job for 11 years, December 31, 2015 it was eliminated, due to restructure of the department, unfortunately, they have made a big mess., however, I have found you kiss a lot of frogs before you find some a “job” that is real, and pays decent money…my husband is very ill, I have to work at home, and we need money to come in and help with medical bills……plus everything else…anyways, I started doing the surveys, well I found they went on and on and on…..then you click yes on one thing, then it goes to a different screen – then a requirement is that you “purchase one thing”, well, when there is nothing listed that you want…but I spent hours, and never even got to the end of a survey !!!

Hi Linda,
Sorry to hear about the difficult times you’re going through. It’s hard to find online jobs that actually pay decent money without putting in a lot of time. There are several “opportunities” like surveys or data entry jobs but they pay very little. Your experience with surveys sounds familiar. I usually spend time starting a survey but don’t end up finishing as I’m not in their target group. Lots of wasted time!
Wish you luck in your future endeavors,
Peter
Hi Peter,
Hope all is well. I need help and could you please help me check if tis is legit or scam?. Cyberwage.com
Thank you,
Pelagio
Hi Pelagio,
Had a quick look at Cyberwage. I wouldn’t get involved with this. Take a look at their Facebook page, quite a few people asking when they are going to be paid. The amount they are paying per click seems to be a lot more than some of the genuine sites, so it’s probably not sustainable. Hope that helps.
Peter
Paid surveys sound good. Some people have made over 3200 USD monthly money with paid surveys.
Hi Dwight,
I’ve never met anyone who has made much from surveys. In fact, I know or have heard from many who spend time completing surveys never to make a dime because either they don’t qualify for the survey after spending 10 or 20 minutes filling it out or they never reach the payout threshold. Either way largely a waste of time.
Cheers,
Peter
I’m signed up for several free survey programs and I’m making roughly 30 euros per month. Used to make less but my biggest surveyor boosted their rewards a tenfold and instead of 10 cents I’m getting 1 euro now mostly. I get 20 euros from that one and about 10 from the others. I have to outright lie in most of them, trying to fit myself in the demographic so I get the reward. As with the wine, car, or airplane traveling questionnaires, it’s pretty simple. you want to look like a rich dude who’s swapping smartphone every week, travels by plane 10 times a year and is always looking to buy a new car or TV. And yeah, it takes hours each week, not minutes. I have 310 euros worth of points accrued in my slower account and about 60 in my faster one. 10 euros is the minimum limit to withdraw and I prefer Present card gift cards, which I can convert into different gift cards gogift.com. I always eat for free at Mcdonald’s. A big upside was when it became possible to buy gift cards for a nearby convenience store. Now I have something to spend all that money.
Glad you’re making a few dollars every month from online surveys Adriana. You say it takes hours to make your money, I wonder how much time you really have to put in to make your $30? Having to lie to qualify for the surveys isn’t very ethical. If everyone does this the results of the surveys will be useless. In addition, you run the risk of having your account terminated. Anyway thanks for your feedback and honesty.
Peter
i’ve made some money and a subway sub card.it does take time but i have some time to spend on it.yeah i read that site and they’re up to $97 before you put in the bonus code. i saw they wanted money and i knew it was wrong.sometimes you can get money when you sign up on good survey sites.
Thanks for your feedback Janet. Yes, it is possible to earn a small amount with surveys, although it is very time consuming. You’re right you should never pay to join any survey sites.
Best of luck,
Peter
Hi Peter,
Could you tell me what your #1 recommended sight is that you couldn’t tell the gentleman because he was from Nigeria?
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.Wendy
Hi Wendy,
My #1 recommended site is Wealthy Affiliate, you can check out my review here. To be successful with this program you need to put in a lot of work and time, it’s not a get rich quick scheme. However, having been a member for a while I know what they teach works.
All the best,
Peter
Hi, Peter my name is Adebayo am from Nigeria but I ve being trying to earn money online since long time ago and i have tried many survey sites which some disqualified me and some proved to be confirmed scam, so I have wasted a lot of time fo earn extra income online…. So i want you to help me suggest what i can do that will work for me…. Thanks for the write up, it really helpful, because I nearly fall to PSAH trap……. Hope to hear from you sir
Hi Adebayo,
In general, taking surveys takes a lot of time for a relatively small payment. It isn’t something I recommend and at least you didn’t waste your money on PSAH.
It’s difficult to know what could work for you, it depends on your skills. One of the quickest ways to start earning money online could be with freelancing – writing, graphic design, SEO or creating websites for local businesses… If you are prepared to work hard affiliate marketing is my preferred online business model. There are training platforms where you could learn but the best ones have a monthly or yearly fee. It’s a shame my #1 recommended training platform won’t let you join as a free member because you are from Nigeria.
I can’t really suggest anything else, most of the opportunities that you see online are either scams or you work for next to nothing.
Best of luck,
Peter

Peter, please help me if this only scam?
Hi Didik,
I think this is definitely a scam. Were you expecting any money from PSAH? Probably not and certainly not $12,000. I don’t know how they will scam you. Perhaps they will ask you to pay them some money to cover their fees and you will of course never see any money from them. Don’t give them any of your personal details, personally, I would just delete the message and forget about it.
All the best,
Peter
Some people obviously succeed with Wealthy Affiliate, but I found it to be a complete scam unless you were already tech savvy or wanted to spend your time and be at the mercy of the lovely members of the community who are always willing to help. It doesn’t take long to figure out that the main website they want to help you get going is the one advertising WA as the gentleman above does. Anyone who can find their way to building a successful online business can do it without the exhorbitant fees of WA. When I ran into a problem and coudn’t even log into my site for more than one action, I was finally able to contact Kyle, who, I suppose because he couldn’t figure it out, was finally rude, condescending and then refused to answer emails. This has been over two years ago, I will still have a follower email show up in my inbox and when I have tried to contact them about this, you guessed it. I never get a reply. They’ve made a forturne off good and honest people of whom a few like this gentleman, finally find a way to monetize a site. But, as helpful as his article is about scammers, notice who he is promoting. Don’t get me wrong, I have no doubt that this man is a good guy and has found a way to help people avoid scams while pulling down some affiliates for himself, but of which the main one is Wealthy Affilliate!
Peter if you could forward this info on to Kyle or Carson that would be great. I don’t really even expect them to have the guts to contact me but maybe they will finally completely remove me so I don’t have followers that I can’t even contact. Maybe as my site is growing, as I have joined a true big dog, and I write enough and often enough warning innocent newbies away from WA, maybe then I will get their attention and at least they will remove me then.
All the best to you Peter, I wish you the greatest of success in all that you do and God Bless You!
Hi Dana,
Sorry to hear you didn’t appreciate Wealthy Affiliate. I have found it to be very useful. I have learned how to use WordPress, how to build an affiliate marketing site and I am earning money online. So I am very happy with the platform.
Yes, they do have monthly fees if you are a premium member, but considering what you get it’s not too expensive. For example, for managed WordPress hosting similar to that provided at WA you could pay anything from $90 to $299. The price at WA is $49 for hosting + training, support and tools!
Yes, I do promote Wealthy Affiliate because I have found it to be a genuine program. There are so many scams or useless programs around like Paid Surveys At Home, it’s a pleasure to promote something that is legit and works.
I hope your business is doing well and wish you success in the future.
All the best,
Peter
I registered to Wealthy Affiliate only to find out it’s not available in my country and that I have to pay more than 300 dollars to be a member. Any other sites to suggest? I’m in the Philippines, by the way. Thanks!
Hi Belle,
Yes, unfortunately, the Philippines is one of the countries from which free members are not accepted. For other sites, you could try Fizzle.co I’m not familiar with their training but it doesn’t look bad, the only thing I don’t know if it’s step by step. They give a 2-week free trial but you have to give your credit card details when you sign up. Affilorama.com provides some good free training, you just have to give your name and email address, probably the best choice in your situation.
Hope that helps and best of luck,
Peter
hi peter, hello and thanks for the information.
as you can see, i’ve paid for a membership and realized that i’ve been scammed a split second too late. I not expecting any refunds or hoping my money will got back after this.
But now i’m sincerely worried they may took my data online and use it for bad purpose.
do you think you can give me any kind of advice to avoid getting my data taken? any kind of advice would help a lot. thank you!
Hi Juliana,
If you’ve paid to join PSAH you should be able to get your money back as there is a 60-day ClickBank guarantee. If you look at this page there are the explanations about getting a refund. As for your data being used for dishonest purposes, I don’t think it’s too much of a concern. PSAH have your name and email address, your credit card detail were entered on the ClickBank payment form and they can be trusted. I too joined Paid Surveys At Home to carry out the review and the only problem I have had is emails promoting other scams.
Hope this reassures you, Juliana,
Peter
Peter! A lot of thanks for this instructions! I too fail for that scam and was wondering how to get my money back ( 50$ is my half mount pay so its a lot for me). Hope they will return them to me!
Anyway -really thank you!
Wish you all the best!
Lili
You’re welcome Lili. You have a 60-day guarantee with PSAH. To get your money back contact ClickBank directly. This article explains the process.
All the best,
Peter
Hello Peter,
To be very frank, I don’t have any skill to perfection. In fact, I am ‘jack of all but master of none’ kind of guy. I do wish to own a site, start attracting visitors and earn becoming affiliates n all, I know I can do all that for sure but once I have a particular skill which wud be the basic element. I don’t have any specific skill nor am rich enough to sell any product or service. Now cud u plz suggest me how I can earn online. Eagerly waiting for response,
Thanks n regards,
Ashu
Hi Ashu,
If you want to have your own site and start attracting visitors you can do it! If you have no money there are some platforms that offer some form of training for free. But it will take longer if you try to learn this way. You don’t need to buy the products you promote as an affiliate. You simply write articles about the product and then you get paid when someone follows your link and buys the product perhaps from a merchant like Amazon. This article explains in more detail.
Another way to earn money that won’t cost you anything to get started is freelance writing There is no quick way to earn money online, you have to be prepared to work. Don’t believe sites like Paid Survey At Home that make outlandish earning claims, they’re simply not true!
All the best,
Peter
Hai sir peter , I have not come across an article like this .It is plane speaking . I really appreciate it .
Thanks Margazhi! Although I don’t recommend surveys as a way of earning money online if you want to complete surveys you don’t need to pay to do it. You can sign up for as many survey sites as you like for free.
Best of luck,
Peter
Anyone. I am getting a pop up from Paid Surveys From Home. It is blocking the survey site I am trying to reach. There is no way to get rid of the thing unless I pay them to join then request a refund. Then I can unsubscribe and try to get a refund. They give you a link to unsubscribe but you can;t get to it unless you are a member. You can’t contact them unless you join and become a member. What a unethical company.
Hi Benjamin,
Haven’t had any reports of this before but it’s not a very nice procedure. If you do subscribe to PSAH, you should be able to get a refund from ClickBank. Paying for information that you can find free online is bad enough, this just makes them even worse than I thought.
All the best,
Peter
Pls, Mr. Peter, I need you to help me check if this site is legit or not. snapcashbinary.com
Hi, I’ve just had a quick look and it looks like another binary options program that’s out to get your money. If you sign up with Snap Cash Binary you will be asked to deposit $250 with a broker and you will never see your money again. Snap Cash Binary will make a commission from brokers but you won’t make anything. Don’t try this!
Peter
Hello dear Peter.
Could you advice me.Which survey site better( to earn per month just 1000 US dollar). Its good enouth for me.
Regards Gandan
Hello Gandan,
I’m not a fan of survey sites and I don’t recommend surveys as a way of making money online. To earn $1000 per month from doing surveys will be very hard and probably impossible to do from just one survey site. If you’re serious about making money from survey sites you will need to sign up for a few.
All the best,
Peter
I really admire your area of expertise and the encouraging opinions on the affiliate marketing.
Not quite long ago, i came across the PSAH site and was much eager to partake in the program until i met your review.
I came across another site (www.myopinionmoney.com) some couple days ago.
I really require your urgent assistance on finding whether its actually real or just a scam.
Thanks.
Site URL:www.myopinionmoney.com
Immediate response would be deeply appreciated.
Hi Sam,
I have never heard of this site before, but having seen the sales page it has many of the things I associate with scams. Many images of PayPal accounts, a limit on the number of copies available to give some urgency, promising great money for taking surveys (up to $75 I have never seen surveys like this!) and free bonus ebooks which are probably found free online. So overall I definitely wouldn’t sign up for this.
All the best,
Peter
which work or put of work do you recommend to arrive more surveys in any panel? executive, manufacturing , professional?? which?
Hi Alex,
I know it’s hard to get enough surveys to make any decent money, but personally, I don’t recommend surveys. I don’t know how you can get more surveys. You should always tell the truth and not lie. Apart from that, I can’t help.
All the best,
Peter
hi peter,
I have created a website and i want you check it and tell me Is it good or not.
What i need to improve this site.
I made this site with the help of google sniper but nothing earned from this site and there is no traffic.
Can you tell me what type keywords i need to used to made traffic and earn money.
check this URL:- burnthefatfree.com.
And have you ever tried 200$in20minuter.
Tell Is it scam or real.
Hi,
Just had a quick look at your site and I can understand you will have trouble ranking and getting traffic. Sniper sites are very hard to rank, for now, they used to work years ago but since Google has changed their algorithms authority sites stand a much better chance of getting ranked. I recently reviewed Google Sniper and I even got the impression George Brown now thinks authority sites are the way to go.
In addition weight loss or diet is a very competitive niche. For keywords you need to choose words with some traffic and little competition, these are much easier to rank for than keywords with lots of traffic and high competition. Always better to be on the first page of Google for a keyword with 10 searches per month than on page 50 for a keyword with thousands of searches per month.
I have never tried 200$ in 20 minutes (I have put it on my list to review) but have read some reports that it’s not bad and gives some good training, although finding a complete program for the price they are charging is impossible. I have also read that you should avoid the upsells and don’t be taken in by the title, you will not earn money in 20 minutes!
Hope that helps,
Peter
Hey there petter
I made a huge mistake and signed up with paid surveys at home now i want to cancel so they dont keep charging me every month!!! What do you suggest?
Hi Nixi,
Sorry to hear you signed up with PSAH. As their product is sold through ClickBank you shouldn’t have any problem getting your money back. If you purchased the product in the last 60 days you can apply for a refund. Go to ClickBank support and then refund or cancel and follow the instructions. The membership fee isn’t a recurring payment so there shouldn’t be any future charges.
Hope that helps,
Peter
I want online job at home please help me
Hi Waseem,
You know working online isn’t as easy as many people make out. There are many sites that promise a lot, like Paid Surveys At Home but they don’t really help you at all. My preferred way of earning money online is by affiliate marketing but if you start this you will have to work several months before you actually earn any money. If you have any skills (for example writing, graphic design, programming translation…) you could try freelancing. Go to a site like Upwork.com or Freelancing.com and see what jobs people need doing or offer your services on a site like Fiverr.
Hope that helps,
Peter
(link removed) I have tried many survey sites. I have had the most luck with mint vine. It’s easy to accumulate points and turn them into cash either get paid into your pay pal account. Or get gift cards!! Check it out
Thanks for the info Allie. I haven’t tried Mint Vine yet, I’ll have to take a look.
Cheers,
Peter
Hello, are you looking extra money? I recommend Clixsense. Join free and earn money
(affiliate link removed)
Thanks for the suggestion Bree! Clixsense is a legitmate program but I don’t recommend it as you have to spend so much time to earn a few cents.
All the best,
Peter
Greetings Mr Peter,i deeply appriciate your insight for this issue,i have been scammed once by some binary option nonsense called Titantrade,i am really desperate because i have huge debts and i am in trouble so i really just want to workhard and pay my debts..but these guys took advantage of me and they took the money i so much worked hard for,all my savings,i am really hurt…but i am not a quiter,i want to find a genuine way to earn money and get rid of these debts…but i am also afraid to be scammed again,i almost signed up for the Home Paid survey before i came across your article..Thank you so much!
You’re welcome Herlin,
Sorry you were scammed by a binary options program but at least perhaps you learned a lesson as you now search for reviews which is definitely the right thing to do. Surveys aren’t a good way of earning money online and you have avoided paying for some pretty useless information with Paid Surveys At Home.
I admire your determination and if you are ready to work hard you can make money online. Don’t believe any of the get rich quick schemes they are only after your money. I recommend affiliate marketing as a way of earning money online, it’s a lot of work, but enjoyable and the rewards can be substantial. Getting some good training to get started is a good idea. The platform I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate, it’s worth taking a look as it’s free to join. After that there is a premium membership which provides much fuller training or you can stay as a free member for as long as you like. Either way, you will learn something and hopefully be on your way to paying your debts.
Best of luck,
Peter
Hi Mr Peter
I want to ask u a question
I registered in the website then I go to the video page.. but when I reloaded the page they said I have to pay 34 dollars instead of 17 if I reloaded.. I reloaded the page then got out of it.. Have I paid anything to them ?? Plz reply
Hi Ali,
If you didn’t give them your credit card details then you haven’t paid anything. If you’re interested in doing surveys you don’t need to pay you can find survey companies yourself just by doing a simple search on Google. Although, they will take a lot of your time and you won’t earn much doing surveys. It’s not something I recommend!
As you have given them your email address watch out for the emails promoting other get rich quick schemes. These schemes are out to get your money and Paid Surveys At Home are interested in making their affiliate commissions and nothing else. Always research any make money online program before signing up!
All the best,
Peter
Thanks very much Mr.Peter ,
And thanks for your great article ..
All the best..
Hi Peter, I’ve filled the box with my email and name on the PSAH homepage, though i didnt go any further than watching half of the video they play to explain how they work. I want to know if it means that I registered on the site, and if yes how I can cancel it. Thanks beforehand.
Hi Lais,
If you just filled in your name and email the only thing you risk is being sent spam promoting other useless programs. As far as I know there is no way of canceling your registration. So I would just forget about it and if you receive emails from PSAH don’t click on the links of the money making programs they recommend.
All the best,
Peter
im from kenya and I want to register but im my country kenya is not among the countries listed
Hi,
I don’t recommend registering with Paid Surveys At Home. If you want to do online surveys just search in Google “list of survey sites” and you will find quite a few sites that have lists of legitimate survey sites. These lists are free you don’t need to pay for this information. A word of warning, don’t expect to earn much from online surveys the examples given on the PSAH site are very much exaggerated.
Best of luck,
Peter
can someone tell me if its possible to cancel my membership in this website?
Hi Deyma,
If you want to cancel your membership and get a refund do it through the Clickbank. You will need your order number and the email address you used when you made the purchase. Hope that helps.
All the best,
Peter
Thanks Peter for your time and for such an eye opening review. I am not a member yet but I like to have the knowledge before hand, such information is useful to form an opinion and I must say keep up the good work!!!.
Hi Aubrey,
I am glad to hear you’re not a member yet and I hope you won’t be joining Paid Surveys At Home in the future. If you are considering surveys to earn a little money then I suggest finding the companies yourself, you don’t need to pay for the information. Surveys are not something I recommend you will spend a lot of time to earn very little, a better alternative is to spend this time building your own business. It may take longer to actually earn your first few dollars, but with hard work, determination and patience you can build a sustainable business that may even replace your full-time job.
Thanks for your comment and best of luck!
Peter
Hello Mr Peter thanks for your piece of good work and shedding light on this particular issue. I was almost registering before coming across your article I must say you have done a great job here.
You’re welcome Solomon. It’s definitely not worth paying for the information you receive at PSAH. If you want to do surveys you don’t need to pay, but with the small amounts you are paid for your time it’s not something I recommend.
All the best,
Peter
Great site, I have always had my suspicions when it comes to earning “big money” completing surveys, I thought it more like “big work, little money” because filling in surveys can take a long time and a lot of effort.
The fact that “Paid surveys at Home” is just a re-hashed list from a database that anybody can use along with a few fancy tools like the calculator that you can use to work out what you”ll earn, confirms my suspicions that it is something to steer clear of.
This is a very well detailed site as well as being very informative, I think anybody who is looking at doing online surveys for extra cash should read this first as it will prevent a lot of people wasting a lot of time and money choosing something like “Paid surveys at Home”.
Very good site Pete!
Thanks, Renny,
There is no big money to earned from completing surveys. You are right in saying surveys are a lot of work for very little money. Then paying for information you can find elsewhere for free is not a good idea, especially when you consider how hard it is to make money from surveys. If anyone pays the initial price of $64 they will have to work for many days or perhaps weeks just to recuperate their money. If you’re interested in completing surveys, make sure you never pay to join these companies and you should always consider there are better ways to earn money online.
Thanks for your visit,
Peter
Nice site sir. I feel you covered many different sources very well. I was glad to see you go in depth in the survey scam. I have been scammed on this myself. Good research on wealthy affiliate. In my opinion its the best out there; but people gotta be reminded that you’re probably not going to make a quick buck but instead you’re make a sustainable one. well done sir.
Hi Houstoer,
Sorry you were scammed by this program. Surveys aren’t a good way of earning money and in my opinion they are not worth considering. If you want to work online I think you should forget all these schemes that promise easy money. Building a sustainable money making business will take time and hard work and you’re right, people should always be reminded of this. Wealthy Affiliate is an outstanding training platform that can teach complete beginners how to earn money online. This a much better way to spend your time than the online surveys.
Thanks for your comment,
Peter
Thanks for the thorough review of this offer. Paid Surveys At Home (PSAH) seems to be another one of those sites that preys on the innocent that are looking for fast cash….
They will continue to have success unfortunately, unless the lucky ones do due dilgance prior to giving up their money, and come across a review like this one.
Even though they have been around for awhile it certainly does not mean they are legitimate, as you rightly point out…
There are sites that are legitimate for sure that provide what they say and more, but there are many more like this one that only after you are in do you reaiize it is less than what is promised…
Add in all the other things you point out, like unsolicited offers and emails, plus paying for the privelege of getting survey sites you could easily find yourself, the affiliate program that has you promoting something where you know once you are inside is not providing a value, and you can see this is a less than desirable program…
I appreciate you pointing out for us all the holes in this program and I certainly would never consider this for making money. The Wealthy Affiliate site you mention IS a good one, I can attest to that, I have been a member there over 6 months, and it had been invaluable for my online marketing program…
Cheers!
Dave : )
Hi Dave,
I am always surprised that these sorts of sites, keep going for such a long time, there are many reviews that point out the information they give is available online for free. People must get used to researching programs before they part with their money. At the end of the day online surveys aren’t even a good way of making money, so I certainly wouldn’t pay to join this program. Added to paying for the information, I am still getting a few emails every week trying to get me to sign up for other scams, they really do only care about their affiliate commissions, which is very sad.
Luckily, there are some genuine programs, like Wealthy Affiliate, that provide value and can teach you how to build an online business.
All the best,
Peter
“Desperate times calls for desperate measures.” I’m sure that is the reason why some people buy into scams like this in the first place. Surveys aren’t for everyone. Some people qualify often and some not so much if at all, so a product promoting survey sites as a guaranteed source of income would be a scam.
Hi Shawn,
Perhaps it’s the desperate situation that people find themselves in that makes them sign up for programs like this. The claims made here are obviously way over the top, $5 to $75 for completing a survey is ridiculous. Add to that the information they give can be found for free, this site provides no real value to their members. As you say surveys aren’t for everyone, I would go further and say considering the time they take, the feeble rewards and the payment thresholds, most people will be wasting their time.
Cheers,
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the informative review. I’ve seen a lot of these survey programs around and even tried one out myself. Like you said they are very time consuming and the potential earnings are quite low, so i stopped doing it after about two surveys. Your time and effort would be much better of spent somewhere else, like wealthy affiliate.
Hi Adam,
As you have tried surveys you are aware of their shortcomings. Many people seemed to have tried the survey sites only to quickly give up when they see how little they are paid for their time. This program is even worse as you have to pay to obtain the list of survey sites.
If someone has the time to spend on these sites they would be much better off using the time to build a real business. This might be hard work and take a few months before you obtain that first sale. But unlike the survey sites which aren’t very interesting, your business could be built around one of your hobbies and can be very enjoyable and at the same time make you some money.
All the best,
Peter
Thanks so much. I was here the whole day, waiting for your reply Mr. Peter. Thank you so much. Let me see how this can work out. I’ll let you know, and feel free, I have provided my email up there to contact me please, I’ll need you to help me with other reviews. Thanks so much.
Peter, good review. But I have one allegation against you. guess what, all of you gurus online are corny. You always protect your product. Though I don’t blame you. That’s part of marketing strategies you need. I’m not saying that you are not correct but you too are heading to some where. Trying to get more traffic to your links. Good job. and keep it up.!
Hi and thanks for your comment. That’s the first time anyone has called me a guru, anyways, it’s true, I am promoting a product. But, this is not just any product, it’s a program that I know and it works. I make a monthly income thanks to this program, Wealthy Affiliate. If by writing reviews that keep people away from the scammy sites like Paid Surveys At Home then I’m happy. If as well, I can guide them to an honest program like Wealthy Affiliate that’s great for me and them.
All the best,
Peter
Hi Peter
Quite a great review. I liked it. Though I have a question, which is the best online working site then? Kindly, I need your help on this thank you.
Hi Greatt,
For me the best site if you want to work from home is Wealthy Affiliate. This isn’t like a survey or paid to click site where you can start earning straight away. No, you have to build your business which takes time and effort. However, it is possible to build a successful business which can really earn as much as you want. The secret is to follow the training and never give up, before earning your first dollars you must be prepared to work for at least several months.
Survey sites aren’t a good way to earn money and Paid Surveys At Home should be avoided, you should never have to pay to join a survey site.
All the best,
Peter
Hello. Thanks Peter for your review, I appreciate your work. Thank you so much! A few minutes back I read about PSAH’s reviews from people down their website, and I was going to join today, but, as usual I don’t stick on what on man has said at times, I went ahead and looked at more reviews about PSAH. God guided me and I happened to fall on this one. It has really saved my precious time and my money! It’s not worth even a single cent.! Thank you so much. I’m a member at WA (Wealth Affiliate) but paypal doesn’t pay in my country. could there be anyway I could use my visa card to get paid. WA is awesome. but I’m looking at a situation where I can’t get paid after reffering people, just because this PayPal doesn’t pay my country. If there was any other payment method like STP or Visa. it’d really be a great thing for me and my friends. Thanks so much for your review. you’ve saved my little dollars. I’d end up in regrets. Thanks to God who had you do this for us. thanks so much.
Thanks James, I’m glad my review helped you stay clear of this scam. Good job you checked a few reviews, surveys really aren’t a good way of earning money online. Nice to hear you are a member Wealthy Affiliate, but sorry to hear you can’t get paid by PayPal in your country, the only other way that you might be paid is by check. I think you need to have a $100 of sales in your account and then you ask WA to send you a check. I hope this may help you and your friends to earn some money with WA.
Best of luck,
Peter
You’re welcome. Mr. Peter. I’ll make sure I see that feature of a check. I provided my email above, I’ll have some more questions about WA and we can keep in touch, you might help lots of my friends to join different online business you could recommend. It’ll be okay if one can have around two or more online jobs. huh! Thanks.
Hi James,
You won’t see the check feature, you have to ask when you have more than $100 of sales in your account. If you have any questions on WA feel free to ask. To be honest, there aren’t many other programs online that I recommend, it’s true, there are some paid to click sites or survey sites that are legit but I don’t endorse these sites for making money online.
Yeah, you can have more two or more online jobs, but you should remember, building a sustainable business from home is a lot of work, and the more time you can put in the sooner you should see some results.
All the best,
Peter
Hi Peter
Thanks for taking the time to do this review, it’s very hard to make any judgement on a programme until you can see what’s happening behind the scenes.
You are right about not being of the right demographic, that has also happened to me on many occasions. I think to be honest the customers many companies are after wouldn’t be filling in surveys anyway.
What also struck me is that Clickbank are promoting this as one of their affiliate products, which would be of concern if people decide to promote it and don’t realise what exactly they are recommending.
Hi Marie,
I agree you have to dig a little to see what most programs are about. In this case it was easy to see this was a scam, having to pay for a list of survey sites and then emails promoting scams.
If you’re in the right demographic group this may help you obtain more surveys and also enable you to actually complete the surveys. Because when you have wasted time on a survey and not had the chance to finish this is very annoying. This is just one reason why I don’t recommend surveys as a way of earning money online.
Clickbank promote many dodgy products, you always need to check out any product you promote or you risk losing the trust that you have built up over time.
Thanks for dropping by,
Peter
Good day Peter,
Thanks for exposing another shoddy program like Paid Surveys At Home. It’s actually amazing that people still think they can make any substantial money only through surveys.
Doesn’t everyone know by now that they are either scams, selling platforms to sell you (the person who wants to make money online via surveys) more worthless crap, or simply poor time wasters for very little money. Better off getting a job for McDonald’s flipping burgers.
At least your review will help others avoid these time and money wasters. People who want to make money online need to realize it takes real education, real time, real dedication just like any other profession.
There’s great money online, but it doesn’t come by making a few clicks a day. You have to offer something of real value. Like your site here: LetsWorkOnline.net
Nice review Peter,
Todd
Hi Todd,
Like you, I am surprised people still think online surveys are a good choice to earn money. To me they are a waste of time. Having spent some time filling out surveys I have never actually made anything. I always give up before I reach the payout threshold, because I am fed up wasting my time answering questions and not being qualified to finish the survey and get my credit.
It’s true to earn real money online you need to work hard and it takes time. Hopefully, little by little people will realize this, stop trying to earn cents with these surveys and decide to get some training to build a sustainable business. In my opinion, if you want to earn money online this is the best way to go and if you build a business around one of your passions this can be really enjoyable.
Thanks for the compliment Todd,
Peter
Hi, thanks for the interesting post. I am always wary of paid survey sites that claim you can make as much money as they do, and had my doubts about PSAH, which you just enforced.
Will check out your link to Wealthy Affiliate, and maybe join up there. I am always reluctant when payment is required “upfront” without any proof that you will even make that back.
I once took part in a free paid survey site, never made enough money to pay it out. That was, when I wasn’t disqualified from the survey halfway through it.
Hi Douglas,
PSAH makes some excessive claims for making money from surveys, which are completely untrue. My advice would be to forget about making money with online surveys. As you say you have to often reach a threshold before they pay out and this can take a long time. Then, if you consider the time you spend taking the surveys for just a dollar or two, it’s just not worth it.
If you want to earn money online it’s worth taking a look at Wealthy Affiliate, the training and the community are really first rate. Free to join, no credit card details required, you can take your time to look around and also create a couple of free WordPress sites. If you’re ready to put in the work and don’t expect to earn a fortune in your first months, this is a good opportunity to build a sustainable business.
Best of luck Douglas and if I can be of any help let me know.
Peter
Hey. Peter!
Great review.
Seems every one of these programs are scams and it gets so tiring seeing them take advantage of people.
I was taught white hat marketing ironically from your recommendation at the end of your post, lol.
I will stick with the WA program myself but I do like to check out other programs just to remind me how brutal the business can be.
I agree this one is a scammy as they come.
Keep up the good work!
Shawn>>
Hi Shawn,
I agree there are way too many scam programs online. That’s why I spend a fair bit of time highlighting these scams to try and stop people paying for programs that won’t help them in any way.
The legitimate programs are few and far between. Wealthy Affiliate is one of the few and you are right to stick with it. They teach you how to build a legitimate business, with no wild promises of riches in a short time.
Thanks for stopping by,
Peter
Hello there Peter , interesting article , I am looking for legitimate surveys opportunities that could worth my time.I know , I ask for too much.
The price reduced 4 times , what a plugin is that?…Awful production from the get go.I can’t believe it.It was yesterday when I came across a Binary fraud that used this technique. They reduced the price even to Zero.Amazing or what?
They offer that list for a price?…Unethical and deceptive. That information is free online.Upsells , bonuses and email sequences , will that ever stop?
How can they stand in the market for so long (10 years) with such awful services , no value , for just a list and because of the referral system?
For me surveys in general are not worth our time , even from legitimate sites , they are paying pennies and you waste valuable time. Not to mention the countless disqualifications.
Anyway , another useless product added to an extended catalogue , thanks for the heads up.It was a nice and honest review
Hi Tasos,
Surveys that are worth your time? I don’t think that exists, I certainly haven’t found any yet. Everything about this program is pretty bad and yet another waste of time. You’ve gone through many of the bad points and like you I am surprised they are still going after all this time. I still receive emails from them promoting other scammy products, saying things like you have been given a free product, of course, these programs are all scams and you risk losing more to these programs than with Paid Surveys At Home.
Thanks for your comment,
Peter
I’m one of those people who used to do online surveys until I realized I will never be the demographic group they’re looking for.
I wish I would have found your website before I spent my time and energy just go gain a few dollars. Your website is detailed and gives the reader the information they need to know to make an informed decision.
You are honest and tell the truth of the matter. There aren’t any online paid $20 surveys. They don’t exist. Or at least they don’t exist for me.
Lastly, I like the alternative to surveys, which is making money at home. I would have liked to have seen information on mall surveys or surveys that you do for entertainment companies. Because they pay decent but the drawback is it’s not something you can do from home and you can’t do it regularly.
Hi Rawl,
I know what you mean about not having the right demographic, isn’t it annoying when you are told you can’t finish the survey. Like you, I am sure the $20 surveys don’t exist, it’s just hype to get you into the program.
I have heard about mall surveys, it seems some of them used to pay quite well a few years back, but now I don’t know if they pay much if at all. Anyway, it would just earn you a little cash every now and then.
Starting your own home based business is a much better idea. If you are unsure how to start the training program I mentioned is a great place to begin and it’s free to join.
Cheers,
Peter
Hello
Thanks for an open and very honest review, i tried surveys when l first started online, what a waste of time and energy, do a survey for 30 minutes to earn less than a dollar, or time more if l count the time you do it half way only to be told you dont qualify.
l think the exaggerated earning potential is what pulls in a lot of people only to find that these surveys do not exist.
Anyone who wants to make money online should look for alternative ways like you said.
Hi Roamy,
Many people seem to have tried surveys as a way of making money online and most are disillusioned. As you say, such a waste of time. I suppose we are all ready to try a free way to earn money, however Paid Surveys At Home even make you pay for the pleasure. The exaggerated earnings claims are really blatant and the emails promoting other scams show us that they don’t give a damn for their members.
Thanks for your comment,
Peter
Good afternoon,
There was a GAME CHECK, POINT, CLICK.
Offer by TIMOTHY HOLLANDALE.
On each amount, you click for example R2000, R5000, R 20000 and R50000.
The amount of money will be paid in your bank account.
By accident, I click on UNSUBSCRIBE.
Where I have made $ 34900,94 in S.A Rand by that time value R 17.50
In other words $ 34900.94 * R 17.50 = R 610 766. 45
In other words just over a half a million rand.
Then I have lost the money of course of my accident.
Then I never hear of him again.
They have even INCOMPLETE me in the DATABASE.
Can your people help me, please?
Sorry to hear about your lost money Pieter. Unfortunately, I can’t help, I’ve never heard of Timothy Hollandale.
Best of luck,
Peter
Peter you are right, taking surveys online is never going to make you much money. I tried a few different survey sites some years back and just as you describe, half way through, I got told I did not qualify, and this happened with most of them, it seems nothing has changed.
Your review exposes PSAH as just a gateway to other survey sites, and to pay to get a list of sites, just rings alarm bells. A solid review that will act as a warning to many people, great stuff.
Rob
No, online surveys haven’t changed Robert. They still waste your time and don’t pay much, even when you are allowed to complete a survey. Paying to get a list of survey sites is definitely something you should never do. You can find all the information for free with just a little searching. These people are only after one thing, your money!
All the best,
Peter
Hello there
l did not know that paid-surveys-at-home still exist, when I was just getting started online they scammed me of my money(how stupid l mist have been to pay someone so I could work for them?)
They exaggerated the earning potential but as a newbie online, no one can earn money without training which is almost non-existent.
The surveys are so hard to come by because as soon asthey are available, they are taken, not to mention the almost work for low price they pay.
l agree with you this is not recommended for anyone, it`s not worth the time or the money.
Thanks for this review, hope anyone looking into joining PSAH read your review before they make an informed decision .
Hi Roamy,
Sorry you were caught by PSAH. Unfortunately, they still exist and they are still there taking peoples money for a list you can get for free elsewhere. When you’re a newbie to the earning money online world, it’s hard to know what is legit or not. After a while you learn that you must always do your due diligence, but this may be only after you have been scammed once or twice. Like many of us, you have now learned your lesson.
Online surveys aren’t a good way of earning money online they pay too little and there aren’t that many. It’s much better to use your time to build a real business.
Cheers,
Peter
Ugh, I hate these scammy websites like Paid Surveys at Home. All of this info is available for free online (in fact, I even have a big list of free survey websites on my personal website). Even still, I hate that they encourage you to waste your time on surveys at all and that they make you pay for the privilege of getting their stupid list! You’re absolutely right in your review, and good for you recommending Wealthy Affiliate. That’s an awesome program!
Hi Jillian,
You’re quite right all the information here you can find for free, so paying for this is a complete waste of money. Yes, with surveys you have to work for too long for your small rewards, that’s when you actually make it to the end of a survey and get paid. Which isn’t that often!
Surveys are clearly a waste of time, people should consider building a real business by joining a training program like Wealthy Affiliate, where you taught how to build an internet marketing business from the ground up.
Thanks for your visit,
Peter
