Vibrant Money System (VMS) is a program that’s been around for a couple of years and they have a sales page that tells you that Google and Amazon pay commissions to people like you to market their products.
Great, so apparently you will be doing affiliate marketing and making $300 – $500 per week for a few hours work per week! At least, that’s what they say.
The problem is that this program doesn’t really seem to be about affiliate marketing. In my review, I’ll explain what this is all about and why you should steer clear of Vibrant Money System.
Product: Vibrant Money System
Overall Ranking: 0 out of 100
Price: 5-day trial $1.95 then $29.95 per month
Owner: Travis Stephenson??
Website: www.vibrantmoneysystem.com
Who is the owner?
It’s clearly stated that the CEO of the program is John Sellers, but whether he really exists is another matter. There are reviews that state the person behind the program is Travis Stephenson who has been responsible for many other scammy programs such as No Website Millionaire, EZ Cash Creator, or Simple Cash Code to name just three. Vibrant Money Systems was registered by Travizia Inc which was founded by Travis.
So Travis might be the owner of Vibrant Money System, but the company you join when you become a member of VMS is VW Hosting. In the terms and conditions, the only company that is mentioned is VW Hosting, the telephone numbers, and email for support are for VW Hosting.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has a page about VW Hosting, which is apparently an alternative name for Vibrant Money System and Vibrant Web. The principal of these companies according to the BBB is James Arteca.
What is Vibrant Money System?
To me, it looks like VMS is a funnel to VW Hosting mentioned above. VW Hosting provides a website building service, hosting, and domains. So, if you sign up with Vibrant Money you become a member of VW Hosting and you will be paying for very expensive hosting.
Who is this for?
VMS is for people who need a website and hosting. If you are over 18 they will help you buy a domain name, build a site, and then help market your website. At least, that’s the theory. Having read some comments from unsatisfied customers about the service, the reality seems a little different.
If you need a website you don’t need to pay the prices Vibrant Money System or rather VW Hosting charge. Some people have paid $5000 for a website and they are not satisfied.
There are alternatives:
- Site builders like Wix or Weebly are very easy to use and they both give you a free site. Their cheapest plans start at just a few dollars and their most expensive plans are only $25.
- You can create a WordPress site very cheaply less than $10 per month for hosting. If you are worried about not having the necessary know-how there are online courses that can teach you. My recommended WordPress site building platform also gives you lessons in setting up a business website from the ground up.
You can also get ready-made sites built for you for a lot less than Vibrant Money System will charge. The great advantage of using other site builders or hosting is that you can cancel at any time which seems to be a major problem with VMS or VW Hosting.
What do you get?
When you sign up and give your credit card details, you get access to your back office at VW Hosting. Apparently once there you get a website template, a free domain, and also some very sketchy extras that aren’t really explained such as business management software, marketing tools, help with getting leads from social media, blogging, and content training.
They also have a few bonuses a couple of eBooks and a 30-minute consult call. The consult call isn’t really to help you but to entice you to part with more of your money. I’ve read of some poor people being conned out of as much as $15,000.
They are preying on people who know nothing about setting up a website and have no idea of the costs involved.
If you go ahead and build your site, Vibrant Money System says they will help you find the right affiliate products or services for you to promote and you will become an affiliate marketer for companies like Amazon, Google, or Bass Pro.
Deception and red flags
As with many online scams, VMS uses the same sort of tactics:
- The limited number of free memberships pressure tactics.
- Then the free membership turns out to be a 5-day trial that isn’t free, you have to give your credit card details to get access.
- The usual stock photos for John Sellers and the success stories.
- The “work from home opportunities have been featured on:” ploy. This is completely meaningless it has nothing to do with Vibrant Money System. Many scam sites use this trick in an effort to make themselves look respectable.
Member Complaints
There are quite a few complaints about VW Hosting on the Better Business Bureau website. The good news is that VW Hosting seems to reply to the complaints and reimburse their unhappy members. Shame you have to go to the trouble of submitting a complaint to BBB.org to get a refund.
I have also read elsewhere of a member who got his money back after contacting the Attorney Generals Office. Therefore, if you’re having trouble getting your money back, file a complaint with one of these two offices or even better both.
Here are just a few of the complaints I found:
The biggest problem seems to be that it’s very difficult to contact someone and then when you do manage to speak to someone they don’t take any action. This means you are still receiving charges on your credit card even after canceling.
How much does this cost?
Vibrant Money Systems offer a free 5-day trial that costs $1.95. Obviously, they have a strange idea of the meaning of free. This means to obtain your “free trial” you have to give your credit card information and then after the 5 day period your card will be debited $29.95 every 30 days.
Their sales page doesn’t mention anywhere that the monthly fee to join this program is $29.95, they mention several times the “free trial” and that’s it. When you enter your credit card information there is some small print that says you will be charged $29.95 every 30 days if you don’t cancel. All in all, this is very misleading as it is also mentioned that the $1.95 is a one-time payment. In my opinion, they are clearly hiding the recurring payment from their members.
I wasn’t prepared to sign up for this program. Giving your credit card information to a company like this after reading their members complaints is definitely a bad idea. If you do sign up for this program you will have to battle to obtain a refund or to stop them debiting your credit card every month.
My Final Opinion
I don’t recommend joining Vibrant Money System, you pay a small charge for a “free trial” and then they hope you forget to cancel. In this case, you will be charged $29.95 every month and it’s quite possible you didn’t notice the small print mentioning the recurring charge.
If you don’t know anything about building a site they will try and charge you a lot for this service. As with many of these programs the telephone calls that they promote as something to help you are just a ruse for them to get more money out of you. You’re called by a high-pressure salesman who will try and sell you an overpriced site. The programs that offer these calls are usually scams, they want to sell you something. Genuine sites publish a phone number and you call them if you need help.
The many complaints to be found online highlighting the following problems:
- contacting someone at VW Hosting
- difficulty canceling
- the recurring charges after canceling
- not being clearly told what you’ll be doing to earn money
- the recurring monthly charges that are not clearly mentioned
- and being charged unreasonable prices for a website
This means that Vibrant Money System and VW Hosting should be avoided at all costs.
Does earning money from affiliate marketing still interest you?
If so there is a better way! I recommend an online training platform, Wealthy Affiliate, that teaches you how to set up an online affiliate marketing business. There you learn how to set up a website, add content, and monetize your site.
You learn all this with easy to follow step by step lessons. If you have any questions you can ask the community, you will usually have an answer in a few minutes and you definitely won’t have someone telephoning you to sell you something.
Sites like Vibrant Money Systems would have you believe it is very easy to make online, but like everything else to be successful you have to put in the work. By learning and implementing the correct strategies, as taught at Wealthy Affiliate, you can create a business that can give you a passive income for years.

How do you cancel if you have been dooped and signed up for the 1.95 and now you find out you have been billed 29.95 for months?
Hi Nora,
You’re not the only one who has had this problem. They do have a phone number 1-866-737-6801, try that and see what sort of reply you get, if any. If not you could contact the BBB they have a page dedicated to Vibrant Money System, Vibrant Web, VW Hosting, or whatever name they go under. They seem to have had some success in helping people get their money back. Hope this helps.
Peter
Hi Peter,
This a really solid review of Vibrant Money System and you’ve done a great job pointing out many of the red flags with these guys.
Their presentation looks pretty good at first, but then they go right for the credit card and upsells. I’ve found that training programs or online services of value let them come in and check them out on some sort of trial basis.
Thanks for the heads up on this company as well as your recommendation to avoid Vibrant Money.
Todd
Hi Todd,
Another program that looks good when you first visit their site, but after a little research, you find that Vibrant Money Systems should be avoided at all costs. If you join this program you will basically be paying for very expensive hosting and they will try and get more money out of you for building you a site. There are many better programs for building a site or starting an online business. For people who have never done this, they should go to a company that provides step by step training. Even better, as you say, a company that offers a real free trial, they do exist!
Thanks for your thoughts on this program,
Peter
Hi Peter,
Wow – I really appreciate this in-depth review of yet another scam online! It’s people like you who are doing such a great service to those who are desperate and looking for ways to make money online.
It’s so difficult to trust anyone anymore and I must admit I was one of those people who fell victim to a scam. I should have done more research but I have learned my lesson!
Thank you so much for all you’re doing to caution people about the many thieves that are on the internet now (and recommending those that are legit and trustworthy)!
Hi Anna,
Hopefully, this may help some people to avoid this program. I know it’s very hard to avoid the scams and at least you have learned your lesson, I just hope it didn’t cost you too much.
It’s surprising how few legitimate programs there are!
Thanks for your comment,
Peter
I think the biggest clue that this is a scam is that huge price slash from $29.95 to $1.95. Nobody cuts prices down that much without their being some ulterior motive or some upsell they have to purchase.
It definitely sounds like a waste of $30! A website that you’re given but have no idea how to build up and maintain plus nowhere to go for questions!
You mentioned though that people have lost up to $10k with this. How did they lose so much if it’s only 30 a month? Are there other upsells once you join that are supposed to help you earn money “faster”?
Hi,
Downsells are used very often in these types of program, it is one of the signs of a scam. In this case, it’s a little different they offer a free trial for $1.95 and try to hide the fact that you will be charged $29.95 after 5-days. I agree getting a website from Vibrant Money System isn’t a good idea, you’re much better off learning how to make your own site. My #1 recommendation is a training platform that teaches you how to build your website and provides excellent support. The opposite to VMS or VW Hosting.
People have lost a lot of money to these people because they provide a “30-minute consult call”. This is actually a salesman who will call you to sell you a site for a ridiculous price. People who don’t know the cost of a site might fall for this. This is the reason some have lost such large sums.
Thanks for your visit,
Peter
Yet another “money making system”. If I had a dollar for every new system that came out, then I would actually be a millionaire!
Sounds like this Travis is more in the business of setting up these programs to lure people in, grab as much money as possible, and then move onto the next one before the current members catch on.
Are there also countless numbers of upsells after you become a member?
Thanks for writing about this and bringing it to the attention of others before they spend any money.
Yeah, it’s true there are a lot of these money making schemes to be found and the vast majority are just out to scam us. Travis has had a few programs in the past and setting up new programs or frequently changing names is one of the tricks used by the scammers. The worst part of this program is that they will try and sell you a completed website at a greatly inflated price. They are preying on people who have no idea what a website costs and also promising to help them find affiliate programs so they can have their own money making site.
If you want to start an online business it’s a much better idea to learn how to build a site yourself. With today’s technologies, it’s not too difficult and you will be able to add content and administer the site yourself. Choose a program that teaches you how to build an online business and you will save yourself a lot of money and have the opportunity to earn a good income.
Cheers,
Peter
Hey, Peter!
I have crossed paths with Vibrant Money System a few times already and wasn’t quite sure what to make of the program.
Up to $500 per week would be a truly awesome result for me! But after reading further into your review, this isn’t the case at all, so I’m very disappointed with VMS!
The costs and the member complaints alone are enough to put me off with this system. So this is one program definitely not for me or anyone else who wants to earn money online.
Neil
Hi Neil,
Yes, this is another program that promises so much but if you’re not careful could cost you a lot. The complaints show they are not at all interested in helping their customers. Building a site these days is quite easy and if you’re interested in starting an affiliate marketing business it’s a much better idea to learn how to build your own business. There are online courses that teach you everything and will cost you less than Vibrant Money System.
Thanks for your comment Neil,
Peter
