ECom Profit Sniper is another program that promises great earnings for little work.
You’re probably here because you are thinking of buying the program but are not sure if everything they say is true.
Looking for reviews is definitely the right thing to do. There are so many programs that are very enticing and we all want to believe the fantastic stories they tell.
You are keen to make money from home but to be realistic it isn’t a quick process. The drop shipping model they use here might help you if the training is good.
For my review, I signed up and went through the training to see if this is really as profitable as they say.
Summary
Pros: Some limited training. 60-day guarantee.
Cons: No training on getting traffic. Not clear who is the owner. There will be additional fees. Misleading sales video. Upsells. All the information and better training can be found online for free.

My opinion: A sales video with lots of hype and misleading earnings promises. Some limited training that might help a newbie set up an online store but there is no training on getting traffic which means you won’t make any money. Not recommended.

Who is Tom Parker?
Let’s start with the owner. I don’t know if Tom Parker really exists or if it’s another false name that’s used so often by scams or low-quality programs.
The training videos are presented by someone who introduces himself as Robin Mc. In the last video, you see the Facebook account of Robin McGlynn. So Robin McGlynn is probably the person behind this program.
If this is a genuine program why do they need to hide behind a false identity?
What is eCom Profit Sniper?
eCom Profit Sniper is a course to teach you how to set up a dropshipping business.
There are lessons on setting up a store on Shopify, selecting products from AliExpress, and importing them to your site using Oberlo.
What is Drop Shipping?
If you are new to the make money online world or e-commerce perhaps you have never heard of drop shipping. Here’s a brief description of how it works.
This is a business model that allows you to run an online store without having to carry the inventory. When you sell a product from your store, you then purchase it from your supplier and they send it to your customer.
eCom Profit Sniper mention 3 companies in their training, if you’re not familiar with these websites here is a brief description of what they do.
Shopify
Shopify is a hosted solution for building an online store. Hosted means you don’t have to worry about hosting, it’s included in your monthly subscription price. There are different templates and customizations you can use to get your store looking how you want. Once set up you can add products, process payments, and track orders.
If you’re interested in setting up a store there’s a 14-day free trial.
AliExpress
AliExpress is an online marketplace with a huge selection of different goods you can add to your store. As most of the sellers are overseas their prices are very competitive.
When you have a customer who has ordered a product from your store, you pace an order with AliExpress. You enter the customer’s address and the product is delivered directly to them.
Oberlo
Oberlo is an app used with Shopify. It allows you to import products into your store with just a few clicks. You can use it for free until you receive 50 orders per month. You can only use Oberlo to import products from AliExpress or the Oberlo Supply Marketplace.
The Sales Video
Lots of hype…
Makes it sound very easy to make money with the usual fake testimonials and earnings. With only 20 minutes of work per day, you can make $500,000 per year and you can start making money immediately. Umm, I suppose you’ve seen claims like this before!
Misleading earnings shots…
They show some shots of earnings. Even if these are the true earnings of Tom or Robin, they are misleading. The earnings are for total sales. From this, you will have to deduct the price you pay for the product and the expenses you incurred to make the sales, Facebook ads, or other ads.
The Shopify secret…
They speak of Shopify as if it’s some closely guarded money-making secret. It’s not! Everyone involved in e-commerce knows that Shopify and other similar platforms exist.
Making money online isn’t easy…
What e-Com Profit Sniper doesn’t tell you is that making money with any e-commerce platform isn’t easy and will take longer than 20 minutes a day. Most people who start an online store fail and the training you get with this program won’t bring you the success they promise.
Ads for traffic…
They mention that they will show you how to make high converting ads. They don’t! It would be great if they did because traffic will be your main problem.
All in all a very misleading video!
Inside the Members Area
Although the video is very misleading, I signed up to see what was really offered and went through the training modules.
Free Website
The first surprise in the members area is that they offer you a free website. This is a website from CoolHandle. I have seen similar offers in other programs.
Although a free website might sound great, you will get a generic website and you will have to pay for a domain name and hosting. There are many complaints to be found about this hosting company.
I don’t know why you would want to pay for another website because from the sales video I understand you will be building an online store that is hosted on Shopify.
The reason they suggest this is to earn an affiliate commission. It’s not something that will benefit you but Tom Parker, or whoever the owner is, will earn an affiliate commission if you take up this offer. I believe CoolHandle pays $110 per referral!
eCom Profit Sniper Training
Now let’s get into the real training – the lessons are split into 5 modules or parts.
The 5 training modules Introduction, Categories, and Products, Adding Collections and Products, Facebook and Templates
Module 1- Introduction
There is a brief introduction video that encourages you to take action. Two main points.
- You can have your own online store set up in 2 or 3 hours
- If you do take action and don’t give up you will make money.
The videos are introduced by someone who calls himself Robin Mc. However, in the last video, you see the Facebook page of someone called Robin McGlynn. Is this the owner of the program?
I have seen a review of a similar program eCom Crusher where it’s stated the owner is also a certain Robin McGlynn.
Lesson 1 – Shopify Setup
A short video that shows you very simple things like entering your email address, password, store name…
Also available as a checklist in PDF format. The PDF also includes templates for your initial pages … about us, contact, privacy policy, etc.
Lesson 2: Image Hunting
Elementary training on finding free images from sites such as Pexels, Pixabay, Unsplash, and StockSnap.io.
Lesson 3: Settings Note Slides
This video takes you through some of the initial settings for your store. Dealing with items like shipping, payments, taxes, sales channels, and checkout. They also list the initial pages you will need – shipping and delivery, about us, privacy policy, contact, terms of service, etc.
The information is also provided in PDF format
Lesson 4: Shopify Settings in Action
Another video on the settings. This time going into more detail about shipping, payments, taxes, sale channels, checkout, order processing, and notifications.
Shopify can automatically generate your privacy policy, terms of service, and refund policy, you are shown how to do this.
Next, you are shown how to add the initial pages to your store using the templates from the PDF in lesson 1 or the automatically generated pages from Shopify.
Lesson 5: Theme Notes Slides
Here you are shown how to choose your theme and eCom Profit Sniper recommend the Venture theme. Then they take you through some of the customizations you can make. Although what you include will be your own choice.
Setting up your theme should take about 15 – 20 minutes.
Again there is a PDF checklist for the theme setup.
Lesson 6: Theme Settings in Action
A little more detail about setting up your theme. Useful for someone who is setting up a website for the first time but otherwise the website builder is quite intuitive.
Module 2 – Categories and Products
Lesson 1: Category Selection Slide
Next up is choosing your niche or category. This could be a hobby, but you will also want to find products that are selling well.
You are recommended to visit a website called WatchCount which reveals the most-watched eBay auctions. So you know what people are looking to buy at the moment.
Another site you are encouraged to visit is Built Visible. You have to set up the “Content Discovery Strategy Tool” and then it will give you insight into popular topics on the internet. This may give you some ideas for products or blog post subjects.
There are 2 PDFs with this lesson:
- the first simply says your niches could be a hobby or interest and each hobby or interest can be broken down into many different categories and products.
- the second lists possible hobbies you could choose.
It’s a good idea to pick a niche and specialize. Shopify states that most successful stores specialize. By specializing, you will have a smaller customer base but you will build a better relationship with your visitors and may become known as the expert for products in your niche.
In the training, it was surprising that Robin chooses a general store and promotes unrelated goods. I don’t feel that this is a good example and not one to follow!
Lesson 2: Product Finding
As in some of the other videos, this goes through the same subject as the video in lesson 1 but in more detail. Why not include more detail in the first video? I’m sure many people struggle to carry out everything mentioned in the general videos only to find the detailed videos later.
Anyway, this goes through the process of finding products with WatchCount, and then when you’ve found a product that looks interesting you go to AliExpress. Search for products on AliExpress and then using the Oberlo app you can import them into your Shopify store.
Module 3 – Adding Collections and Products
Lesson 1: Adding Oberlo Extension
A short lesson that adds the Oberlo extension to your Google Chrome browser. This extension will let you know which products on AliExpress are ePacket and also import the product data directly into your store.
ePacket is a global courier service that ensures faster delivery from countries like China, Hong Kong or Korea to the US. For lightweight products, this has considerably shortened delivery time to 4 to 9 days as opposed to 2 to 4 weeks previously.
Lesson 2: AliPay and Oberlo
This video shows you how to set up Alipay and Oberlo.
If you use AliExpress for your products you will need to set up Alipay to pay for the products.
Lesson 3: Collection Creation
A lesson to show you how to set up your collection pages. These are a group of products from the same family, to make it easier for your customers to find products by category. It’s suggested you set up 3 collection pages to start with.
Some examples of collections could be men’s clothes, children’s shoes, sports equipment, Christmas decorations, or office desks.
To create a collection page there is a description template you can paste on the page and then add some relevant keywords. You are recommended to use some LSI keywords found using LSI Graph
Lesson 4: Adding Products
This is probably the moment you have been waiting for – adding products to your shop. Once you have imported some products to your Oberlo list for your shop, you can start customizing product descriptions, titles and choose images.
eCom Profit Sniper imports them into the Shopify shop before changing the title to make it more appealing to customers. Robin does a Google search for a similar product to get some ideas for a good title. Then he writes a product description. Often this is overlooked but you should always write a unique description.
The other things covered are including an “alt tag” for the image and changing the URL for the page.
Module 4 – Facebook
Lesson 1: Facebook Page
Now you have some products in your store you will need to get traffic to your store to make money. eCom Profit Sniper uses Facebook as its main traffic source. So this lesson shows you how to set up a Facebook page for your store.
Lesson 2: Facebook Post
Once you have your Facebook page set up you need to add posts, images, or videos. This training shows you how to do that.
Lesson 3: Facebook Pixel
This lesson explains what a Facebook pixel is and how it works. You are shown how to add a Facebook pixel to your store.
Surprising there is no training on Facebook ads or any other form of advertising to get traffic.
Module 5 – Templates
There are 4 templates available to download but they are of no value. I don’t know why they included these, just more useless information!
What Did I Think Of The Training
The training shows you how to set up a shop on Shopify, add a few basic pages, add a product and create a Facebook page, and add Facebook pixels to your website.
The training is quite basic. It might help a newbie to get started in the actual setting up of a shop but they wouldn’t make any money because you are not shown how to get traffic. The traffic training seems to be included in one of the upsells.
Many e-commerce stores suffer from a lack of traffic. Marketing and driving traffic is essential to your success. You can have the best online store to be found but no traffic means you won’t make any money!
To be successful with dropshipping you will have to provide information, tips and solve problems for your visitors. They need a reason to buy from you and not one of your competitors. This isn’t mentioned in this program.
As so often, you only get a part of the information you need with the eCom Profit Sniper program. You can find some better training on setting up your dropshipping store for free.

If you’re considering dropshipping this is the first place to start. Much more detailed than the eCom Profit Sniper program and it’s free!
Oberlo has a blog post on starting a dropshipping business which is worth a read. Search the internet, you will find plenty of free resources.
How Much Does eCom Profit Sniper Cost?
The program costs $37 but click to leave the site and the price is reduced to $27.
There are upsells:
- Premium eCom Package $197 then downsell to $97 to have everything done for you
- Targeted Traffic booster $196
There is also a 60-day Clickbank guarantee.
One thing to consider, that is not mentioned in the sales video or even in the training, is that there is a monthly fee for Shopify. There is a 14-day free trial and then it’s $29 per month.
You will also need – a domain name, to pay for Facebook ads, probably other traffic sources and tools when you start.
You won’t start earning money just from buying this program!
Is eCom Profit Sniper A Scam?
No, this program is not a scam as it does provide some training that could be useful to someone just getting started with setting up an online store.
However, someone who buys eCom profit Sniper will soon become disillusioned and give up because they won’t make any money.
The sales video is full of hype and misleading information that makes it sound very easy to set up a profitable online store.
From following this training you will have an online store set up, a Facebook page and a Facebook pixel added to your store. You won’t have any traffic and you won’t make any money.
Not recommended!
If you do want to try dropshipping, firstly, I would read the Shopify guide I mentioned above and then read some blogs or watch videos from successful drop shippers.
A Google search for “Shopify dropshipping success stories” will bring up some interesting results. These successful drop shippers often give some details and tips on how they achieved success.
