Welcome to my Copy Paste Income review. You’re probably here to learn if this is a legitimate program to make money online.
Can you copy and paste your way to success on the internet as this program suggests?
I signed up to check it out, you will see what I found below.
Copy Paste Income Review
Summary
Pros:Some good information, step by step training which is easy to follow
Cons:Lots of hype, numerous upsells, made to sound too easy to make money, you probably won’t make any money with copy paste income
Owner: Ewen Chia
Price: $37 with downsell to $27 if you click to leave
Website: http://www.copypasteincome.com/
My opinion: There is some information that is useful but overall I don’t recommend this program. Exaggerated earnings claims and too many upsells.
Who is Ewen Chia?
Ewen Chia has been an internet marketer since 1997 and has several businesses besides Copy Paste Income – AutopilotProfits.com, CompleteBusinessSetUp.com, Autorespond.com, and SuperAffiliates.com.
Ewen is one of the best-known internet marketing experts, and he now likes to teach online business to others to help improve their lives; at least, that’s the story.
He’s also an international best-selling author of “How I Made My First Million On The Internet and How You Can Too!” and a renowned conference speaker.
Ewen Chia is obviously a very knowledgeable marketer, will his program provide value?
What is Copy Paste Income?
This is a make-money-online program that uses the strategy of giving away ebooks.
The ebooks contain affiliate links that will earn you money. Ewen Chia provides step-by-step training videos that will teach you how to get underway.
As so often with these types of programs, the sales page is full of hype and little detail about how you will be making money.
Who Is It For?
To be honest, I don’t recommend this program to anyone. OK, it’s not too expensive, and there is a guarantee. But you will probably waste your time.
There is lots of hype making it seem simple to make money just by copying and pasting content and affiliate links.
This is all about affiliate marketing which is a great way to earn money, but there’s more to it than you are taught in this program.
What you get with Copy Paste Income
This program is made up of 6 coaching videos and 10 ebooks. The video lessons last a little over 2h 30.
The videos
Step 1 – Find a niche and a problem
In the first video, Ewen explains what this system is all about. You give away a mini ebook that has content to help people in the niche you’re targeting.
The ebook will contain affiliate links associated with your Clickbank account. I looked at one of the ebooks provided with this program, and the products promoted were other of Ewen Chia’s programs.
The video continues, saying you have to provide value in your ebook, which is good advice.
Next comes picking your niche. Some simple but good tips that would help someone just starting.
Step 2 – Find an affiliate product
This video is about finding a product to promote in your ebook. You have the choice of using your own product or using other people’s products (affiliate marketing)
Ewen Chia recommends using affiliate products that solve a problem in your chosen niche. He shows you how to choose a product from Clickbank and get the affiliate link.
Step 3 – Find relevant keywords
Ewen explains what keywords are and how to choose keywords that will target customers who are interested in your products or in solving a problem.
Step 4 – Create keyword optimized ebook
Next up is the ebook. Ewen goes through the process of creating the ebook. For the content, he recommends using private label rights (PLR) or public domain articles, and the ebooks should be from 5 to 20 pages long.
Is using PLR content a good idea? It’s easy and rapid to implement and quite cheap or free. But if you want quality, unique content, you will need to write the ebook yourself or hire a writer.
Copy Paste Income also supplies ebooks that you can give away. You just need to add your Clickbank affiliate link. These ebooks also come with giveaway rights which means that anyone can share them. Your affiliate links will be in the ebook.
Step 5 – Promote your ebook
Some methods in this part of the course seem a little out of date.
Ewen recommends uploading your ebook to document directories, ebook directories, ping your ebook using pingomatic.com, sharing on any related forums, sharing on social media, and sharing on the question and answer sites.
Using directories, it will be very difficult to get any exposure amongst the many thousands of ebooks already uploaded. Not to mention the fact that the ebooks given away with this program have probably been uploaded many times.
The other problem if you share the ebooks that come with Copy Paste Income, you will be sharing low-quality, generic ebooks. Will you be taken seriously?
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Some decent information for choosing a niche and keywords, although simplified
- 60-day Clickbank guarantee
- Step-by-step training
Cons
- Lots of hype
- Numerous upsells
- Probably won’t make money with this strategy
- This seems like a funnel to other Ewen Chia products
- Using generic PLR content for your ebooks isn’t a good idea
Price
Copy Paste Income costs $37 with a downsell to $27 if you click to exit the sales page.
Upsells
Right after signing up, there are upsells to other Ewen Chia products, Copy Paste Traffic, and Copy Paste Conversion. But it doesn’t stop there!
In the members area, there is a welcome video message. This turns out to be another upsell. Even when I closed the members area up popped yet another upsell.
The members area is full of links to other Ewen Chia products, and don’t forget you will also be promoting Ewen Chia programs in the ready-made ebooks.
This seems to be a funnel to all the other Ewen Chia products, which judging from the reviews, are not very good.
Should You Buy Copy Paste Income?
I’m surprised that a well-known internet marketer like Ewen Chia produces such low-quality programs. If, as Ewen states, he wants to help his students succeed, I’m sure he could produce better training.
Unfortunately, he seems more interested in growing his own personal wealth with upsell after upsell, which is very annoying.
In my opinion, you shouldn’t buy Copy Paste Income.
Copy Paste Income does have some useful information, but you will struggle to make money with this program. You will probably end up wasting your time. Yes, you can get a refund for your money but lost time cannot be replaced.
The information in the ebooks you will be promoting is generic content that you can find online for free. So why would anyone download these ebooks?
If you have an email list, you could promote the ebooks to your subscribers, but by doing that, you will lose their trust and hurt your reputation. There’s more to building an income online than copying and pasting!
I think it’s much better to build a business that will be around for a long time. Not a business that you will try for maybe a week or two and then give up disillusioned because you haven’t made money as Ewen promises.
In addition, if you have a problem when you’re going through the program, there’s nowhere to get help.
If you are interested in making money online and are ready to put in the work, then I recommend you try this online training program, where you can get step-by-step training and help from a community of professional marketers. Unlike Copy Paste Income, you can try it for free to see if it’s a good fit for you.
If you’ve had any experience with Copy Paste Income or have any questions, please let us know below.
Hi Peter,
You have written a good review. My question related to this topic is; why such sites that are popular and give false promises are allowed by Clickbank to use its platform and promote them?
Any reason you may know?
Thanks Khan,
It’s a good question, but unfortunately, I don’t have the answer. Clickbank seems to allow almost any product to be promoted on their platform. In addition, many of these low-quality products get good sales. Perhaps not everybody asks for a refund, which means the seller and Clickbank make money, although the product may be useless. I must admit I often try products from their platform for reviews and often I don’t ask for a refund, so they make money. I assume that although a product may give false promises Clickbank can still make money from it and this is probably the reason they are willing to promote these low-quality products.
All the best,
Peter
Copy paste income . It sounds too good to be true ! So probably it is.
Thanks for this thorough analysis . This copy paste income is not scam but from what I read in you post it is not worth considering .You save my time and effort. I hate losing time because , as you said, it is the only unrecoverable resource.
Those type of reviews are necessary in order to help people to make proper choice . Thanks
Yes, Alex, not a scam as some of the information in the program is good. People will be drawn in when they see the earnings claims but they will quickly be disappointed when they don’t make any money. The relentless upsells are one of the most annoying parts of the program. It certainly gives you the impression that Ewen is interested in one thing and it’s not in helping you to earn money online.
Thanks for your comment,
Peter
This program feels old and is using different techniques that are now obsolete such PLR and public domain articles.
It would work before the panda update. That is the main reason for this update. To provide ensure that everyone has its chance and not penalise people who are working hard.
Also, another problem is that new entrepreneur cannot make that amount of money in 2 days. The reason is that they lack skills and experience. Bur for the veteran one it is a child game as they are playing with a much more larger amount of money.
Giving people fake hope that building a business online is easy. That illusion fades away as you start building your business.
Yes, there are a few outdated techniques in Copy Paste Income. The earnings claims are pure hype most people won’t make anything with this program. They will just become disillusioned about making money online.
Cheers,
Peter
Wow what an extensive review, i had heard of this programme before and was definitely wondering if the claims were true and if it was a process that was repeatable!
I love that you have also outlined that you get the product cheaper if you click to leave it 🙂
Many of these programmes definitely do seem too good to be true with their exaggerated income claims and it does seem easy to get sucked in.
However i always remind myself that these people are experienced marketers, and it probably took them time to get the where they are today so i take it with a pinch of salty that a complete newbie can come in and be recreating the same results.
Thanks for the review, you have really helped me make my mind up!
Glad to help Collen! Yes, it’s very easy to get drawn in, they make it sound so good and easy to make money. Someone who’s just starting online would believe this, especially as the owner is an experienced internet marketer. I find it a shame that some of these people who have made a fortune online aren’t ready to help the people who are desperate for a few dollars.
Thanks,
Peter
If it were only as simply copying and pasting. It sounds like a scam to me when they promise you how easy it is to get quick money.
Thanks for the review- I don’t think I will be wasting my money on this!
You’re right Dinh, this isn’t worth bothering with. If it was really this easy to make money online everyone would be doing it.
It’s not only a question of wasting your money (there is a solid guarantee) but also you will waste your time which is perhaps more important than the money.
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks for the review on copy and paste income. I won’t have to waste my time and money! Most of these online get rich quick products sound too good to be true and they are.
You’re welcome, Sandra. Yes, these type of programs make so many promises about making a lot of money without doing hardly any work, it’s clear they aren’t legit. Unfortunately, many people are under the impression that making money online is easy. Hopefully, this review will save them from wasting their time “copying and pasting”.
Cheers,
Peter
