My father recently told me about Bonus Bagging and said it was possible to make £500 per month. At first, I was skeptical, but as he’s quite an expert on betting and has actually made money from this program, I thought I would check it out.
So I signed up with Bonus Bagging but then found that living in France I couldn’t open an account with the bookmakers, as required. The French government like you to place your bets through their nationalized betting system the PMU. Nevertheless, I continued my research to find out the truth about this win, win betting system.
Background
Mike Cruickshank started to look into the betting world when he was a student in need of money. After many hours of research, he found matched betting which is a risk-free way of making money and doesn’t take up too much of your time once you’re used to the system.
Since this period he has devoted his time creating low risk betting systems. In the last five years, Mike has released four products.

What is this betting system?
Bonus Bagging is a system based on taking advantage of the bonuses offered by bookmakers to attract new clients. The well known traditional high street bookies such as Ladbrokes or William Hill now face enormous online competition from hundreds of internet bookmakers. All these online bookmakers are willing to offer you a bonus or a free bet to tempt you to bet with them.
It’s these bonuses that are used to earn you money with Bonus Bagging. You use the bookmakers money to make a profit through matched betting. You bet on all outcomes and never risk your money.
You sign up with the bookmaker, qualify for the free bet, use the free bet, withdraw your balance and then move on to the next bookie. This is often referred to as the Bonus Bagging loophole.
If you don’t have any bookmaker accounts Mike says you can earn £1200 in your first month and then £500 per month afterwards.
Who is Bonus Bagging for?
Bonus Bagging is really for people from the UK or Ireland. Many bookmakers will need an address in the UK for you to qualify for the free bets. Consequently, if you are not from the UK or Ireland, unfortunately, it’s probably better to forget this system.
Apart from that, this could be for anyone a complete newbie or an expert in betting. You must be over 18 years old.

How it works
Step 1. To get started you need to open an account with Betfair and deposit £75.
What is Betfair?
Betfair is a betting exchange, founded in 1999, that allows customers to bet against each other rather than betting against the bookmakers. A bet can only be accepted if it is matched by another customer. Betfair makes its money by taking a small fee for each transaction.
Another difference with traditional bookmakers is the way the odds are expressed. The odds at Betfair are expressed in decimal form. For example: instead of 2-1 the decimal equivalent is 3.0, which means if you bet a £1 you will receive £3 including your stake.
With Betfair, you can bet on a horse or a team to win or “lay” the horse or team, which means you back it to lose. You must have sufficient funds in your account to cover your liability.
Step 2. You ask for your first bet, the qualifying bet.
Mike sends you the first bookmaker to open an account with, the amount to deposit and the bet to place. This bet is to qualify for the bonus. So you don’t risk losing any money, you have to place a lay bet with Betfair. It is common to lose a small amount of money with the qualifying bet due to the fact that the odds offered by Betfair are better than the bookmakers odds.
This is the type of email you will receive. You have a link to the bookmaker, the bet to place and the odds. You also have a link to the page on Betfair where you will place your lay bet. Really very easy to follow.
Step 3. Request your free bet.
Now that you have obtained the bonus, you have to place your free bet and you will want to profit whatever the result. Mike always tries to place your free bet at high odds, because the bookmaker doesn’t give you the stake, you only get to keep the profits. Therefore, Mike always tries to place the free bet at odds of over 4.0. You place a bet with bookies at odds of more than 4.0 and you also place a lay bet with Betfair to cover you if they lose.
You receive an email from Mike, with very easy to follow instructions as with the qualifying bet. As you can see, you are given all the details even the amount you will make.
In this example, if Skonto wins you make:
£20 x 3.1 = £62 less the stake £20 = £42.00 less lay bet liability £28.92 = £13.08
You have placed a bet on Skonto to lose so if Debrecen win, you lose your free bet and you make:
£13.77 less 5% Betfair commission (0.69) = £13.08
When laying a bet it’s important to note that you can only win the other person’s stake.
Your bet will either win at the bookmaker or at Betfair

Step 4. Withdraw your winnings and ask for your next bet.
You can ask for a maximum of 3 new bookmakers per day.

Training
There isn’t really any training, however, everything is explained on the frequently asked questions page. There are videos that explain:
- How to place the qualifying bet
- How to place the free bet
- What to do if you have an unmatched bet
- What to do if you’ve placed the wrong bet
There are also answers to many common questions you may have. In addition, there is also a detailed section about Betfair and the betting exchanges. All in all, everything is made very clear and personally not knowing much about the betting world, especially betting exchanges, I learned a lot.
Support
The support comes directly from Mike Cruickshank and in general seems to be very good. He says that the support and satisfaction of his clients are his first priority. Mike has made his products easy to follow even for someone who doesn’t know anything about betting or bookmakers. He also says that if he gets the same query from a few people he will make a video with written instructions explaining how to solve the problem.
The only drawback with Mike dealing with the support himself, is that it might take him longer to get back to you.
Cost
The cost is £27+ tax, but if you click to leave the sales page it is possible to have a 7 day trial for £1. Then you will have to pay a one-off payment of £26. As it’s a ClickBank product there is a 60-day money back guarantee, but if you place a couple of bets on your first day you will probably recuperate your fee.
What are their customers saying
Almost all the comments or reviews from customers that I found were positive. Although the profits may not be as much as promised by Mike, it’s not bad for ten to fifteen minutes work per day.
However, trying to do Bonus Bagging if you’re not from the UK, can be difficult or impossible as I found. Although I have read that it is possible to use from other countries, as you need a UK address for the bookmakers this will be difficult. It would be useful if Mike included a warning, stating this only works for UK or Irish residents.
My final opinion
When I started my site, I never thought I would be reviewing a betting system. To me betting was just a gamble, some you win, some you lose, not a legitimate money making system. However, after reviewing Bonus Bagging, I have changed my point of view.
With Mike Cruickshank’s system, if you follow the instructions and you’re from the UK or Ireland, you will make money. It’s as simple as that. The Bonus Bagging loophole is very easy to follow and you are given all the information to make your bets – the bookmaker, the stake for the bets, the odds – everything is calculated for you and sent to your inbox.
The price of £27 is very reasonable. It’s time to place your bets and reap the rewards.

As someone who lives in the UK and is a Matched Bettor, I can confirm that this is a legitimate way to make money online. Although I haven’t personally used Bonus Bagging, I know the method they deal with is legit, and I use a different program, Profit Accumulator, which offers very similar services.
Yes, the sign-up offers tend to be more financially rewarding, but there is still money to be made even after you’ve signed up, through reload offers. So there’s always opportunities to earn. In a 2 month period I made £750+ mainly from reload offers, and I know others who are making much more, but that’s good for me.
So I just wanted to share my own experiences really, and just dispell some of the myths about Matched Betting.
However, I’ll be honest and say I’m not too familiar with the actual program Bonus Bagging, so I can’t comment on things like their support, training etc.

BEWARE: I have been bonus bagging now for 2 years or more and there are a few pitfalls that WILL happen. The main one being this will get your account closed over time if you only bonus bet and not actually bet as normal from the bookmaker.
Also beware that they CAN and WILL withdraw the offer without telling you so that you may have done the bonus bagging and expect the freebet from the bookmaker only for them to tell you you no longer are allowed such bonuses. You will then be out of pocket!
Therefore the £500/month will gradually decrease over time as the offers reduce and bookmakers ban you or remove offers available to your account.
This is fine if you want to smash and grab but if you want to still bet normally at the same time you will be restricted greatly.

The bonuses are simpler and larger in the beginning but will decrease over time, as you say. I hadn’t heard about the bookies withdrawing offers without warning, so thanks for letting us know.

There seems one obvious flaw of which no one has addressed in the comments.
Bookies will give new customers offers, but you can only be a new customer once at each bookmaker.
So how are people making repeated new accounts? do the bookmakers allow you to close accounts and then make a new one quickly after with the same address? or is there some trick involved?

You can only sign up once with each bookmaker, but Mike Cruickshank does have a list of quite a few bookmakers who offer free bets for opening an account. Once you have used up all the free bets your earnings will slow down. However, the bookies offer other incentives, like reload bets, to entice you to bet even more and you can take advantage of these to have an ongoing income. You can’t use this to make a full-time income, but nonetheless, this can offer monthly profits with no risk.

£500 is a great deal of money for a lot of people to make each month because it would certainly top up incomes and give them extra fun money to play around with.

I am not sure about this Bonus Bagging program. In my experience, if there is a loophole it will not stay open for long. Maybe it is best to do this system and get the most money you can before the loophole is closed. I have never been very comfortable with betting my money even if someone tells me that there is no way I can lose. They are usually wrong. I might not be very interested in this system but do you have a recommendation for a way to make money online that is not as risky as betting my money?

This loophole has been open for a few years now and as long as the bookies keep offering bonuses to attract new clients it will stay that way. I agree with you about most betting systems, I never really feel comfortable with them. In fact, it seems a little strange recommending this one, but this works and only takes a few minutes per day, so why not. I would certainly try it if I lived in the UK.

But I’m a little bit skeptical about how sustainable this is. I mean there’s got to be some limit to the number of online betting websites out there.

I was surprised when I started looking at this betting system and I’m just sorry I live in a country where they don’t allow this. It’s true your returns will be greater in the first months as you take advantage of the sign up bonuses with the bookies, but after that the bookmakers offer reload bets. These are bets or bonuses you are offered for placing certain bets, for example: bet £10 and get a £5 bonus or place 4 x £5 bets to obtain a £5 offer. So you can continue to earn money.
This system really works, my father who lives in the UK, made money with it and I recommend trying Bonus Bagging.

I found your information on Bonus Bagging very interesting. I am not a UK or Ireland citizen so I can’t play but it sounded like an interesting hobby and if you could make extra money, cool! You do a very good job outlining what its about. I like your pros and cons section as this is a great way to compare what it offers with what it will cost you. This is very help full in making a decision of weather or not you want to play.
I think you’re right KayliAnne, treating this as a bit of fun or a money making hobby is the right approach.
